About two years ago, I was 65 pounds heavier than I am right now. I needed to change my life. I started eating better, but after dropping 25 pounds on my own, I was at a plateau. I started to look at reviews for places like LA Weight Loss and Weight Watchers to help me move forward. I saw a review for Vaughan Fitness and found that it was pretty comparable in price to the other options that I was looking at so I gave it a try. I signed on for 10 sessions. I was surprised at how comprehensive the care is. They helped me with what I was eating, taught me how to read the nutrition facts on the side of the box and showed me different work outs I could do on my own in addition to the ones with the trainer there. Over the next eight months, I dropped another 40 pounds and became the most toned I have ever been. I probably would have dropped it even faster, but I have a bad hip. I get a lot of pain in it, especially when I use it a lot. This did not sway Dave, he came up with different exercises I could do to strengthen it but not make it painful. Between the weight loss and the strengthening to my hip, my life is completely different. I can work and walk around, even jog a little bit and the pain is so minuscule to what it used to be. I am even going to Disneyland next week. I could have never even thought of going to a place like that with all that walking before. I never could have changed my life without Vaughan Fitness. They make it fun to see what your body can do. I never wanted to skip a workout with my trainer. They are so motivational and friendly. Before I started, I was embarrassed at the thought of someone else seeing the measurements of my body and seeing me get all red in the face when I work out. I was so wrong. The first time I met Dave, I was very comfortable with him. He was another person that cheered with me when I dropped another inch from my waist (I dropped 9) or hips (8 from there).
