Member of the National Strength and Conditioning Organization

Amanda is committed to helping clients improve their lives by sharingmandy the insight and knowledge that she has gained from her lifelong immersion in sports and fitness. Amanda began dancing at the age of 5. She studied tap, jazz and ballet. In her teen years she joined a dance team in Chicago and traveled to Las Vegas and many other destinations to compete. As Amanda got older, her focus changed but her dedication to good health and fitness did not.

As she got older, nutrition started to play a much larger role in her concentration. As she always says, "Exercise is only part of getting into (or staying in) good shape. You are only as good as what you eat. She takes pride in exercising these beliefs daily and sharing them with others. Consistency is also the key. Eat smart every day and fill each day with some type of exercise or activity."

Amanda has trained women from the age of 13 to women in their 60's both in Chicago and in Las Vegas since she moved here in 2005. She understands the pressures and busy schedules that women face these days and she provides answers to these stresses. Don't let time constraints or stress get in the way of how you really want to look and feel.

Dominic R. Gerlevedominic

Dominic started his pursuit in the fitness industry at the young age of twelve. This inspiration and dedication to health and fitness came by the unfortunate event of his father’s sudden heart attack. He then committed himself to learning as much about health and fitness in order to help his father recover one hundred percent. After helping his father make a full recovery, Dominic had finally found his true passion in life.

The knowledge Dominic gained about health and fitness lead him to be a very successful high school athlete. He competed in power lifting and wrestling. Dominic won countless matches and competitions, and set many records in both of these sports.

Dominic was certified through National Federation of Personal Trainers in 2003. He then started personal training at Gold's Gym in Las Vegas, NV with clients of an extensive variety of types of fitness levels. In 2005, Dominic was given a new position and put on the road to hire, train, and develop new personal trainers at new and existing locations around the country. He was to supply these new trainers with the necessary knowledge base to be able to work with clients of any fitness level, age range, and goals. So, What Is The Difference Between a Registered Dietitian and a Nutritionist? ... And does it really matter? Your browser may not support display of this image. The term "Dietitian" and "Registered Dietitian" are often used interchangeably and are professionally regulated terms.

A Registered Dietitian has completed the following:
An undergraduate degree from a 4-year Nutrition Science program approved by the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
Minimum 900 hours in an ADA approved internship.
Pass the National Registered Dietitian Examination.
RD's have to complete 75 hours of continuing education credits every 5-year period to keep the Registered status active.

How Is It Regulated? In states with licensure laws you may see the initials "LD" which means Licensed Dietitian. You're protected in those states because no one can call themselves a "nutritionist" because it's against the law!

However, you are at risk in states without licensure laws, mainly because anyone can call themselves a "nutritionist" no matter what background they may have. Plus, self-proclaimed nutritionists may lack professional continuing education that is required, and no code of ethics they must follow. For most there is a tremendous lack of legitimate nutrition education. Scary huh?
